 Dilemma Training is a division of Dilemma Consultancy Ltd, which was created in 1990 by Professors Emmy van Deurzen and Digby Tantam, who continue to own and direct it. Dilemma has offices in Sheffield and London, as well as a considerable online presence, sponsoring numerous websites (look at our 'webring' for further information about these).
Emmy and Digby are both psychotherapists, and Professors of psychotherapy in the University of Sheffield. Emmy is also a psychologist and Digby, a psychiatrist.
They have taught in Universities, colleges, and training institutes for over thirty years, and have given presentations about eLearning in psychotherapy throughout the world. Both of them are fellows of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy and the British Association for Counseling and Psychotherapy. Emmy is a Fellow of the British Psychological Society, Digby is an Associate Fellow, a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, and a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
