What study help is available

Tutorial SupportAll of our courses are designed so that you can use them without any guidance or even much prior internet experience. If you lack confidence in internet study, there are three, free, courses that you can take: getting started on the internet, getting started with Moodle, an introduction to our learning environment, and our own course, which introduces you to features of Dilemma training courses, 'getting started with our internet courses'.

Working with other students on what you are learning, and sharing the knowledge that you have gained from your own previous learning and life experience, is a very important part of study. Each of our courses comes with automatic enrollment in a discussion forum, moderated by one of our experienced tutors, where you can 'meet' other students, get or provide help in studying, and exchange views and information about what you are studying as it applies to you and your work.

Forums are 'asynchronous': like emails or letters, you post a message and a reply comes back later.

The forums are moderated by one of our experienced tutors, whom you will  'meet' on a scheduled, regular basis in a chat room (this is a facility like MSN messenger).

Our tutors are drawn from a panel of psychotherapists and counsellors who are trained in internet counselling and have worked previously in forums and chatrooms as internet tutors.
